A little help for your room
Your account, your questions.
Practical guidance for getting help, making choices about your data and understanding Yenvay features. These guides explain the app; the Terms, Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines remain the governing documents.
A concern, carefully heard
Complaints & support
Guide updated October 1, 2026
Open Me → Settings → Submit a complaint. Choose Account, Technical, Privacy, Safety, Suggestion or Other, add a subject and describe what happened. Include a relevant page, Yenntag or date if helpful. Please do not include passwords, payment details or unnecessary private information.
Where your complaint goes
Your complaint is private to your account and the Yenvay admin team. Other members cannot open it. Administrators can read the concern, review it, record a decision and send a reply that you can read in Me → Settings → My complaints. Internal review notes stay in the admin desk.
Following a concern
Keep the reference shown after submission. A complaint can be Open, In review, Resolved or Dismissed. Return to My complaints to check its status and replies; replies are shown in the app, not automatically emailed. A status describes the review of your ticket and does not itself remove content or suspend an account.
Submitting a complaint costs no Yennaday. You can submit up to five new complaints in any 24-hour period. If a confirmation is interrupted, retry the same saved draft or check My complaints before starting again. There is no promised response time.
Reporting content and urgent concerns
For a specific post, note, voice note or member profile, use its Report control where available so administrators can identify the content. Blocking can also help you manage unwanted interactions. This complaint form is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
If you cannot sign in or use the form, email support@yenvay.com. Privacy and data-rights requests can also be sent to support@yenvay.com.

Account & data requests
Privacy and sharing
Review the visibility of a collection or space before adding personal information. Supported collections can be public, friends-only or private. Shared spaces have their own access controls. Wedding planning details remain private to their holder. Publishing a public voice note makes it visible to eligible signed-in members in Wander even if the author’s room is private.
View-only collection links
In a collection, choose Share or open Settings and enable Anyone with the link can view. Links start off disabled and do not change your usual collection audience. Eligible adult owners can copy, share, turn off or replace the link. Anyone receiving it can forward it; turning it off blocks new opens but cannot recall saved copies. Age-restricted collections still require an eligible signed-in account.
The shared page includes the owner’s completed, retained items, item stories and supported catalogue details and artwork. Other members’ contributions, private diaries, purchases, loan contacts, uploaded photographs and private planner records are excluded. For Travel, first enable Show itinerary to collection viewers in the journey’s sharing controls. The collection link then shows visible journeys with their dates, opening notes, stops, addresses and stop notes; personal day logs, photos and album links stay private. Wedding links show celebration and event information; RSVP invitations are separate.
Deactivation and deletion
Me → Settings contains account controls. Deactivation hides your profile and rooms from other members; signing in again can reactivate the account. Permanent deletion is a separate action requiring confirmation and your current password. It cannot be undone. Read the confirmation in the app before proceeding and keep copies of information you need.
Complaints submitted through this form and their associated history are removed when the submitting profile is permanently deleted. Support emails are handled separately under the Privacy Policy. For details of general retention, backups and legal requirements, consult that policy.
Copies and corrections
Supported collection exports produce catalogue CSV files. They are not a full account backup and do not include private diaries, messages, photographs or private provenance fields. To request access, correction or deletion of personal information beyond the available controls, choose the Privacy complaint category or contact support@yenvay.com. Identity checks may be needed before a request can be handled.
Accounts for younger members
The current Terms explain that adults may join directly, while members aged 13–17 require an eligible parent or guardian’s household invitation and supervision. Children under 13 cannot join. Age-restricted content has additional account checks; an 18+ label is not a way to bypass the Community Guidelines.

Posts, collections & profile links
Guide updated October 14, 2026
Public inside Yenvay normally means eligible signed-in members. The three sharing choices below are separate. Neither sharing a profile link nor enabling a collection link automatically publishes your posts to search engines.
Make an individual post searchable
On your own public post in Wander, choose Public web. You can also open the control on a saved thought in Commonplace. Review the exact text and the display name and Yenntag shown in the preview. Read the public-web addendum, agree to publish the displayed text and author details openly, then choose Enable public web. Use Share page or Copy link to send the resulting page.
Each post needs its own choice. This is available for eligible adult authors' public Yennyays, selected collection item text, eligible accepted sticky notes and voice captions without adult or warning labels. Voice audio, uploaded photographs, private diaries, purchase and loan records and private planner details stay out of these pages. The selected public text is not automatically screened for every private detail, so remove anything you do not want to publish.
The page can be read without an account, including by a person you blocked in the app. Yenvay provides a public-post directory and links for search crawlers. Search engines decide whether and when your post appears and where it ranks; enabling publication does not guarantee a result.
Edit or remove a public-web post
While publication remains enabled and the post is eligible, changes to its selected text or author details appear on the public page. Choose Public web → Turn off public web to stop new public-page reads and remove the post from new directory and sitemap responses. Deleting it or losing required eligibility also makes the page unavailable. If eligibility is restored while the option is still on, the page can return; turn it off to withdraw that standing choice.
Search results can take time to update, and copies other people saved cannot be recalled. Contact support@yenvay.com with the public page URL if you need help with a privacy concern. Do not include private account credentials or secret collection links.
Send a view-only collection or itinerary
Choose Share in a collection, or open Settings → Anyone with the link can view. Review the scope, choose Enable link access, then share or copy the link. It starts off disabled and leaves your Private/Friends/Public audience unchanged. Recipients can forward the link. Use Turn off link to stop new opens or Replace link to invalidate the old address. Age-restricted collections still require an eligible signed-in account.
For Travel, enable Show itinerary to collection viewers on each journey you want included. The shared collection page shows those journeys' dates, opening notes, day titles, stops, addresses and stop notes. Personal day logs, essays, uploaded photos and album links stay private. To share just one itinerary, use its single-journey link. Neither link enables Show on Wander. Review text before sending it. These links are marked against search indexing and kept out of the public-post directory and sitemap; possession of a link still allows access and is not a guarantee of secrecy.
Let someone add you as a friend
Choose Share profile in Me or Requests, then share or copy the link. Its recipient signs in or creates an eligible account before seeing your member details and choosing Add friend. Opening a link does not automatically send or accept a request. The recipient of a friend request chooses Accept or Decline; existing block, eligibility and guardian rules still apply.
A profile link does not grant private collection access or change room visibility. It is marked against search indexing and is separate from an opted-in public-web post.
Share something worth keeping
Wander pictures & review
Guide updated October 14, 2026
A photograph with context
Open the pen in Wander. Choose what you are sharing: a thought, experience, book reflection, collection note or deeper interest. Add writing that gives it context, then attach up to five pictures if they help tell the story. Describe each image and arrange its order before publishing. A text-only public thought costs 100 Yennaday; each picture adds 50. One picture costs 150 in total and five cost 350. The button shows the full cost before you confirm.
Photos are for eligible signed-in members under current access and block rules. They are not included when you separately enable a public-web text page. The carousel does not autoplay. If a publication result is uncertain, keep the same draft and choose Check this publication; retrying the same publication does not charge twice.
Block or report without hunting for it
Choose Post actions on a Wander contribution. Block appears first, separately from the report form. Read and confirm the effect: blocking hides the member's content in supported member feeds and ends follows, friendships and requests between you. Unblocking does not restore those relationships. Choose Report if you also want administrators to review the contribution.
If your post is removed
Open Wander → More Wander tools → Your removed posts. Read the reason and deadline. You have 30 days from the original removal to view the removed contribution, save an edit and Submit for review. You can revise the available text and remove pictures from a photo contribution. Voice-caption edits retain the existing recording.
The post stays off Wander while it is being reviewed. Only approval restores it; saving or resubmitting does not reset the deadline or charge more Yennaday. A proposal submitted in time can be reviewed after the window ends. A removed collection contribution does not delete its underlying object or private records. The editing window is not a promise that every moderation record, file or backup is erased on day 30.
Admin decisions
Authorized admins can use Hide from Wander for a reversible suppression or Remove from Wander to start the author repair window. Add a clear reason and use Wander review to inspect proposals before approving or requesting changes. Hiding or removing a contribution turns off its public-web publication. Restoring or approving it does not turn Public web back on automatically.
Read the Wander pictures and review notice for audience, points and safety-record details.
A day worth remembering
Travel essays & sharing
Open a saved journey and choose Diary. Write one private essay per date, up to 10,000 body words and 200,000 characters, with a live word count and reward preview. Existing day logs remain unchanged.
Saving today’s essay earns 1 Yennaday per 10 complete body words, up to 1,000 per account per UTC day across journeys. Only words above the previously rewarded high-water mark can earn more. Repeated saves, retries, shortening/restoring text and deletion/recreation do not award the same words twice. Past essays remain editable without new rewards. Titles do not count; punctuation-only or emoji-only tokens do not earn.
A single-journey view-only link shows only that journey’s permitted schedule. It never publishes the journey to Wander. Show on Wander is a separate toggle, initially off, and still respects the collection’s audience and existing moderation rules. Essays, day logs, personal photos and album links remain outside view-only links. Essays also stay out of member itinerary shares. Recipients can forward a link; revoke or replace it to block new requests, although downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
A little intention
Yennaday & sharing rules
Yennaday are Yenvay’s in-app points. The Terms explain that points have no cash value unless Yenvay expressly states otherwise. Supported activities can award points, and some actions display a points cost. Check that cost before confirming.
Public voice notes
A voice note can last up to five minutes. Each successful publication costs 100 Yennaday. Previewing and listening are free. Retrying the same publication does not charge twice. Removing a recording does not refund its publication cost. A published recording cannot currently be edited.
You may add a caption of up to 1,000 characters, an 18+ label where appropriate and up to five content-warning or trigger tags. Warning-tagged captions and audio remain concealed until a listener chooses to reveal them. Adult-labelled recordings require an eligible adult account with a recorded date of birth and are excluded for minors. Recordings do not autoplay. After removal, an already issued temporary audio link may remain usable for up to six minutes.
Accepted public sticky notes
An eligible acceptance of a visitor’s sticky note on an item in a public collection awards 100 Yennaday to the keeper and 100 to the note’s author. Each note earns this reward once. Self-notes and repeat acceptance do not earn another reward. These rewards apply to eligible acceptances after the feature is installed.
Collection copying
A creator may set a Yennaday cost for supported copying. Catalogue information can be copied into your own collection; private diaries, loan contacts, certificates, valuations and permissions are not transferred. Check the displayed cost and details first.
Inside your browser
Cookies & local storage
Yenvay uses browser or device storage needed for sign-in, preferences and operation of the app. This version of the app does not use optional advertising or analytics tracking. Checklist review and display choices are saved on this device for the signed-in account. Read the Privacy Policy storage section for details. A separate marketing site or an external service may have its own cookie settings and privacy practices.
Signing out or clearing browser data can remove local sign-in information and preferences. It does not by itself delete your server-side account or collections. Use the account controls in Settings or send a privacy request for account or data deletion.

Opening rooms and pages
Use the Wander tab or Home’s Wander tool; on compact screens, open Room tools. If a page or connection takes too long, use its Try again or Refresh action. Photographs may finish loading after the room controls appear. Save your writing before leaving, and avoid resubmitting an unconfirmed save repeatedly.
